The Indian Scout is an iconic motorcycle from the stable of the first American motorcycle manufacturer, Indian Motorcycle. The 2022 Indian Motorcycle lineup is extensive, with a total of seven Scout models; the Indian Scout sits at the very top, alongside the Scout Bobber Twenty.
Powering the Scout is a 1,133cc engine, renowned for its strong mid-range and top-end performance. Peak output figures are 100 hp and 72 lb-ft of torque, and this power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox and a low-maintenance belt drive.
While the Indian Scout resembles its namesake from over a century ago, this present-day iteration comes with some modern features. Riders will have access to ABS, a digi-analog instrument cluster with a USB port, and a genuine leather seat. With forward-set footpegs for relaxed long-distance riding, this bike is great for both city commutes and touring New Zealand. For our 2022 Indian Scout, we've also added c Bassani performance pipes, custom grips and lockable saddlebags.
